Beth Sheva Laikin, actress and director, will appear in an original dramatic presen- tation, "Call Them Blessed." Miss Laikin, who holds an MA degree in dramatic arts from New York University, has participated profession- ally in off-Broadway and ra- dio in New York and has had leading roles with the Ann Arbor Arts Theater, Van- guard, World Stage and Cen- ter Theater. The afternoon has been ar- ranged by Mrs. Eugene K. Kahn, chapter vice president of program, and Mrs. Harold Y. Hoffman, chairman of the day. Mrs. Reuben Bienstock, na- tional board member of Ha- dassah, will give the invoca- tion and toast to the 25th anniversary of the state of Israel. Chapter President Mrs. Albert Newman will extend greetings to guests, who are eligible to attend by having contributed $100 or more dur- ing the past year or who have contributed $25 and earned the balance through work on various fund-raising projects for Hadassah instal- lations in Israel. Mrs. E. Newton Rotten- berg, chapter vice president of fund-raising, and Mrs. Phillip Sherman are in charge of donor activities.
