Two of the causes which will benefit from the receipts are the retraining program of displaced Russian dentists in Israel and the Alpha Omega Foundation. Sixty-nine immigrant Rus- sian dentists have relocated in Israel, The cost to retrain each dentist to practice on a par with Israeli standards is $4,000. The Detroit Alumni Chapter of AO is trying to raise its share to help these immigrant dentists toward their goal. The Alpha Omega Founda- tion thus far has donated $10,000 to the American Fund for Dental Education.
