The number of public high schools offering Hebrew courses has grown to 116 from 64 three years ago. Dr. Judah Lapson, execu- tive director, also reported that 48 more communities in- troduced Hebrew in their pub- lic high schools during the past three years, raising to 67 the total number of such communities.
