Women Writers Slate World Meeting in Israel This June Detroit members of Women in Communications, Inc. will join with Women Journalists and Writers for their third world meeting — this year in Israel, June 17-27. Fran Harris of Detroit, na- tional president of WIC, said the theme will be based on "Problems of Modern So- ciety." Among the features will be gatherings tendered by Zalman Shazar, president of Israel; Jerusalem Mayor Teddy Kollek; Yehoshua Ra- binowitz, mayor of Tel Aviv- Yafo; and other leaders. There also will be an ad- dress by Prime Minister Golda Meir. A kibutz stay, fashion show, tours and other events are planned for the women. One of the features will be on-the-spot observation of Is- rael's open bridges policy.
