Omnibus Children's Thea-
ter Series of the Jewish Cen-
ter will present Goose Pro-
ductions in "The Land of
Dreams" 2 p.m. Sunday.
In this production, children
will travel with a young girl
through a mysterious land
of "tickle bushes" and color-
ful characters. The impro-
visational style of the per-
formers allows the members
of the audience to use im-
agination and creativity to
their utmost.

Eastern Michigan University,
where they began perform-
ing together two years ago.
They have since played hun-
dreds of shows in schools
and theaters throughout the
Midwest. The group per-
formed eight experimental
television shows recently on
Toledo's Channel 11 and have
appeared on the Oopsy the
Clown television program.

The date of the Israel In-
dependence Day Parade is
official: May 20.
A meeting between mem-
bers of the parade com-
mittee and the Educators
Council of Metropolitan De-
troit resulted in a promise of
full . participation by educa-
tors and students in the 11
a.m. event. The United He-
brew S c h o o l s has pledged
buses for transportation to
the rallying point at Lincoln
Blvd. and Greenfield in Oak
Park.

the celebration of the 25th
year of Israeli independ-
ence," said Miriam Ray -berg,
coordinating chairman. "Full
participation of the educa-
tional institutions s e r vie e
and philanthropic organiza-
tions, the youth groups in the

singing, and dancing will
surely make this the greatest

The second sketch, "Bon-

tche Schvieg," takes place in.

by Karen Freedland at the
evening performance and
David Rozwaski at the after-

ing angel, and Sid Wiener is
the presiding angel.
The last and longest sketch,
"The High School," shows
the struggle of a Jewish boy
trying to fight the quota
system. Andrea Schnipper,
Abby Scholnick and Robert
Mames will perform.

1973 Science Fair
Director Named

Louis H. Landau of Gard-
ner Ave., Oak Park, is the
director of the 1973 Science
and Engineering Fair of
Metropolitan Detroit. The
local fairs to be held this
weekend will -be at Cran-
brook and the Lawrence In-
stitute of Technology.
March 24-25 fairs will be
held at the University of De-
troit, Wayne Slate Univer-
sity and at the Dearborn
campus of the UniVersity of
Michigan. Winners of the six
fairs will participate at the
Winners Fair in Cobo Hall,
March 29 April 2.
Landau will take the win-
ners of the April 9 competi-
tion at Ford Auditorium to
