Dr. Jack Stanzler, chair-

the large showing of workers

the need for community com-
mitment and understanding
of this year's effort. Discus-
sion participants were given
an understanding of local,
national and overseas pro-
grams and their role in
bringing success to the cam-
paign.
Dr. Stanzler said that al-

most without exception, par-
ticipants agreed they did not
like to solicit, but when the
needs are so great they con-
sider their work a mitzva.
Participants in the evening
were Edwin -Elk, Louis Ep-

TEL AVIV (JTA) — El Al
announced here that it would
continue its regular flights
to France despite a strike
by French flight control of-
ficials which has caused sev-
eral European airlines to
suspend service to that coun-
try.
The crash of an Iberia Air-
lines jet over France with
the loss of 60 lives last week
has been attributed to the
chaos in air traffic control
resulting from the strike.
The French Army has
taken over the strikers'
duties.
El Al said it was rerouting
its flights to Paris to avoid
French territory as far as
possible and that other
flights that normally pass
over France would bypass
that country.
