—the fifth day of lyar, 5708, on the Jewish calendar. Members of the Provisional Government on the
platform, (from left), seated, were: Behor Shitreet, David Remez, Pinhas Rosen, Perez Bernstein, Rabbi
Y. L. Maimon (Fishman) David Ben-Gurion, Moshe Shapiro, Moshe Sharett Eliezer Kaplan, Mordehai
Bentov and Aharon Zisling. Except for Pinhas Rosen, David Ben-Gurion and Mordehai Bentov, all of the
men on the platform are no longer living.
