March of Dimes
Gains Momentum

"You save a nickel. We
give a dime."
That simple slogan is ex-
pected to raise over $75,000
for the March of Dimes
throughout Michigan during
the first two weeks of Feb-
ruary, thanks to a campaign
by the Pepsi-Cola Bottlers of
Michigan.
During that period, Pepsi
will offer an eight-pack car-
ton of 10-ounce, no-deposit,
no-return Pepsi or Diet Pepsi
for a nickel off the regular
price, and for each carton
sold, Pepsi will donate a
dime to the March of Dimes.
According to John Mynatt,
general sales manager for
the Pepsi-Cola Bottling Com-
pany, and Maxwell Gurman,
executive director of the
Metropolitan Detrpit Chapter
of the March of Dimes, the
campaign will cover just
about all of the Greater De-
troit area, as well as the
state of Michigan.

Sources said the trial was
to have opened Jan. 26 but
was postponed for tmdisclosed
reasons. The charges carry
a maximum penalty of five
years' imprisonment.
Lubarsky was arrested six
months ago. He first re-
quested an exit visa to go to
Israel about three years ago.
He was immediately ousted

from the Communist Party
and was stripped of his mili-
tary rank and decorations.
