sleeves. She wore a veil of
imported silk illusion.
After a honeymoon in To-
ronto, the couple will live in
Livonia.
Technion-Israel Institute of
Technology, was awarded
the IL 2,000 ($500) Bar-Hai
Prize for academic excel-
lence. her second such award
in two years.
The prize was established
in memory of the late Dr.
Yoseph Bar-Hai, who died in
1967.
He
was director of
pediatrics at Rambam Medi-
cal Center, today one of the
Technion medical school's
teaching hospitals. It is
awarded annually to the stu-
dent with the highest grades
in the fifth year of study.
Last year Mrs. Barash
was awarded the IL 1,000
($250) Dr. Shimon Brand-
stetter Prize for outstanding
achievement in fourth year
studies. Mrs. Barash, 25, was
born in Hungary and immi-
grated to Israel in 1957. Her
husband, Amichai, also is a
sixth year student in the
Technion medical school .
