Fourth through ninth grade students ski down the slopes of Alpine Valley ski lodge every week — weather per- mitting. Hillel parents and occasionally teachers accom- pany the students. Skiers are able to rent the necessary equipment and lessons are available for beginners. The end of January proved tc be busy for Hillel stu- dents. On Jan. 23, we visited the Americana 'Theater for a special showing of the motion picture "1776." During the same week the junior high students went to the Cranbrook Institute of Science for a guided tour of the museum. A trip to see "Disney on Parade" is being planned for the near future.
