Terrorist's Burial
in Native Town Is
Rejected by Israelis

JERUSALEM (JTA) — Is-
raeli authorities have re-
jected a request by the fam-
ily of Mahmoud el-Hamshari
to have him buried in Tul-
karem.

The representative of the
Palestine Liberation Organi-
zation in Paris died last week
from injuries he received
Dec. 8 when a bomb exploded
in his home.
The perpetrators have not
been found but Arab groups
and some of the press in
Paris have accused Zionists
of his death.
Hamshari's family learned
that their son's last request
was to be buried in Tulkar-
em, his native town.
Ililrni Ilannoun, mayor of
Tulkarem, appealed on be-
half of the dead Palestinian's
family to the military gover-
nor but was turned down.
