Dr. Herman Kanter, as-
sistant director of the May-
bury Clinics and a member
of the staffs of Sinai and
Hutzel hospitals, died Sunday
at age 71.
, Dr. Kanter, a 1924 gradu-
ate of the University of
Michigan's medical school,
was a member of the Amer-
ican Board of Obstetrics and
Gynecology, the College of
Abdominal Surgery and the
Wayne County Medical So-
ciety. He was a native De-
troiter.

iary, she and her husband
planted a forest in Israel and

hosted major JNF women's
events for many years.
