Women's Drive Co-Chairmen Picked

Dr. Jack Stanzler, chair-
man of the 1973 Flint United
Jewish Appeal Campaign,
announced the appointment
of Mrs. Louis Kasle and Mrs.
Gilbert Rubenstein as wo-
men's division co-chairmen
for this year's campaign.
Associate chairmen are
Mrs. Robert Mitchell and
Mrs. Jack Stanzler. Honorary
chairman is Mrs. William
Bailies.

At an initial meeting of the
campaign cabinet, in the
home of Mrs. Kasle, plans
were made for a luncheon
for contributors of $500 or
more Jan. 24 at the home of
Mrs. Mitchell. Additional
luncheons will be announced.
Dr. Stanzler spoke of the
highlights of this year's cam-
paign and the special role
that the women's division
plays in Flint. Ile pointed out
that women, who play the in-
strumental role in raising
their families, also hold the
key to the conceit of Jewish
tzedaka. "It is therefore es-
sential that each woman ap-
proached in the campaign
understand her unique role in
Jewish survival, Dr. Stanzler
said.

In response to the 1973
needs, the campaign cabinet
presented pledges resulting
in an over-all increase of
more than 14 per cent.
Attending this meeting
were Mesdames Jerome
Arenson, William Rallies, Eli
Bernstein, Edwin Elk, Martin
Gordon, Saul Gorrte, Arthur
Hurand, Simon Indianer, Al-
fred Klein, Asher Marder,
Robert Mitchell, Leon Rosky,
Gilbert Rubenstein, Emil
Schupack, Jack Stanzler and
Sidney Wolin.
