The chairman of the fed- eration, Mrs. Arnold Schaf- fer, 'welcomed the newcom- ers, and Mrs. Peter Kronick and Mrs. Michael Pelavin listed the activities of the council and Jewish organiza- tions in Flint. The Newcomers Luncheon heard a plea for baby-sitting services voiced by the young women of the community. If qualified babysitters can be found, the women can more readily attend afternoon meetings and other functions, they said.
