Ceremony to Mark 'Torah Completion NEW YORK — Hebrew schools in Minneapolis and Brooklyn were recipients of the 1972 Zalman Shazar Edu- cation Award for outstanding and innovative educational programs in the United States. Dr. Emanuel Rackman, member of the American section of the executive of the World Zionist Organiza- tion and chairman of the ad- visory committee of its de- partment of education and culture, announced the awards. Winners were the Minne- apolis Talmud Torah, which "has served as a model for supplementary Hebrew edu- cation by means of intenstve studies offered five times a week," and the Yeshiva of Flatbush, a Hebrew day school, with a student body of 2,000, which was cited for its successful "integration of secular and religious studies on an elementary and sec- ondary level." Announcement of the awards was made at a reception in Jerusalem at President Sha- zar's residence at which Hayiin Finkelstein, head of the World Zionist Organiza- tion's department of educa- tion and culture, Michael Single Parent Unit to Hear of 'Hotline' "Hotline," a crisis inter- vention telephone service, will be explained to Parents Without Partners of the Jew- ish Center by director Diane Vincent 9 p.m. Sunday at the 10 Mile branch.
