BONN (JTA)—A memorial
stone was unveiled near the

Sunday in memory of the Is-
raeli sportsmen assassinated

The Israeli team's quarters
were in this building. The
marble stone, carved by a
Munich firm, is inscribed in
Hebrew and German with the
names of the deceased. It has
been donated by the Munich
Jewish community.
The ceremony was attended
by many dignitaries. Among
the guests was the mother of

Alliance
Raps 'Bridget, Bernie'

Rabbinical

NEW YORK (JTA)—The
Rabbinical Alliance of Amer-
ica called upon the manage-
ment of WCBS-TV to discon-
tinue the "Bridget Loves
Bernie" program.
The half - hour Saturday
night comedy is about an
intermarried Jewisr-Catholic
young couple and their par-
ents. The RAA stated that
this television series "is a
flagrant insult and act of

disrespect to Orthodox Juda-
ism and to all Orthodox Jews,
as well as an affront to most
non-Orthodox Jews."

stances of Baraka's anti-
Semitic writings but was told
in reply that Baraka had
already accepted the invita-
tion to speak and that his
talk was to focus on third
world relations, not the
domestic scene.
Baraka's
talk, however,
was mainly a condemnation
of the United States as a
"major primitive obstruction
in the path of progress" and
an exhortation to the church

to become "revolutionary."

He told a press conference
here that his writings could
be construed as anti-Semitic
only if taken out of context.

for Breach of Peace

Rabbi Kahane Fined

JERUSALEM (J T A) —
Rabbi Meir Kahane, leader
of the J e w i s h Defense
League, was fined IL 100
($250) Tuesday for breach
of the peace and unlawful

by a Jerusalem magistrate
to post IL 2,000 ($500) bond
to assure his future good be-
havior.
Kahane's fine stemmed
from an attempt by him and
several of his followers to
affix a mezuza to the Dam-
ascus Gate of the Old City
last month in violation of
police orders.
A senior legal source told
the J e wish Telegraphic
Agency that a decision was
expected shortly whether to
