Music Study Club of Metropolitan Detroit will hold its
annual Artists Concert '1:30 p.m. Sunday at Southfield-
Lathrup High School. Lydia Artymiw, (left), pianist, and
Sheila Fiekowsky, violinist, both students at Curtis Insti-
tute of Music, will perform. Miss Artymiw made her
debut at age 4 and appeared with the Philadelphia or-
chestra as an audition winner when she was 8. She has also
Performed with the Buffalo Philharmonic, and in June she
won first prize in the annual Chopin Competition in New
York. Miss Fiekowsky, a native Detroiter, began stud ie s
with Emily gutter Austen when she was 8. She won
prizes from the Michigan Arts Festival, the Zerounian
Award and the Federation of Music Club's award. She
has performed with the Jewish Center Symphony and the
Detroit Symphony. Proceeds of this concert, the club's
only fund-rasing event, will go to help other young artists
achieve their musical goals. Tickets may be purchased
at the box office the night of the concert, or by contact-
