Night chairman Mrs. Leon-
ard Shulman announced that
the Jan. 20 event will feature
a "deli" supper with Israeli
music and dancing. The Is-
raeli-made movie "Sallah,"
starring Topol, will be shown.

Joseph Ruben, 73

Joseph Ruben, 1514 Via•
bash, died at age 73.

Mr. Ruben was born in
Russia and lived in Flint for
50 years,

Surviving are a brother
Louis Rubenstein, three sis-
ters, Mrs. Rise Jaffe, Mrs.
William Eaton, and Mrs.
Harry Borken, all of Chicago;
and nieces and nephews.

Wino- Dedicated
at Beth Israel

Cong Beth Israel dedi-
cated the synagogue educa-
tion wing last Saturday dur-
ing the Handka celebration
of the rededication of the
T-mple in Jerusalem.

The junior congregation
conducted the services, with
the officers of the junior con-
gregat;an and representa-
tives of all classes taking
part.
Louis Kasle, past president
of the congregation, received
a scroll recognizing his ef-
forts. Also honored were
seven former chairmen of
the board of education and
past presidents of the home
and school organization.
The school presented a
silver cup, engraved with
Kasle's name, for use of the
junior congregation in serv-
ices.

A luncheon followed the
service which included the
consecration of Louis Gold-
berg, Robin Kaller, Dani-el
Kollin. Robert Kukler, Ar-
lene Lenes, Rhonda Price,
Gail Rosenbaum, David Sie-
gel, Jonathan Sorscher, Ron-
ald Suber and Jamey Witten.
