speaker at the "Golden Gifts
Luncheon" sponsored by the
Bnai Brith Women's Council
of Metropolitan Detroit noon
Nov. 16 at the Town and
Country Club.
The luncheon will climax
the special gifts campaign
conducted by the women's
council in conjunction with
the Bnai Brith Youth Serv-
ices Appeal. Attendance is
open to the entire member-
ship upon pledge of $50 or
more to the fund drive.

Bnai Brith Women has as-
sisted in a series of experi-
mental summer "teach-ins"
in Arab villages, in which
joint teams of Arab and Jew-
ish teachers have gone into
Arab areas to conduct edu-
cational and social service
programs. -

Nearly 300 members and friends of Hadassah at-
tended a recent luncheon honoring Mrs. Ralph Davidson
with the Shalom Award of Israel Bonds. Held at Cong.
Beth Achim, this luncheon was the first Hadassah-spon-
sored event for Israel Bonds. Well over 8160,000 in Bonds

1972 National Bnai Brith
Humanitarian Award dinner
which will honor Irwin I
Cohn, Dec. 6 at Cobo Hall.
Cohn will be presented with
the Humanitarian Award on
behalf of the Bnai Brith
Foundation of the United
State s, at the $100-a-plate
banquet.
David M. Blumberg, inter-
national president of Bnai
Brith, will make the presen-
tation to Cohn "for distin-
guished and enduring con-
tributions of a humanitarian
nature."

Louis Berry is chairman
df the affair. Louis Weber
heads the Bnai Brith Founda-
tion committee.
Proceeds of the banquet
will help carry on the Jewish
youth serving program, in-
cluding Bnai Brith Hillel
Foundations at universities,
Bnal Brith Youth Organiza-
