Years of Service
Fifty years of contributions
to Torah education will be
marked Wednesday when
the Ladies of Yeshivath Beth
Yehudah marks its golden
anniversary at a noon lunch-
eon in Young Israel of Oak-
Woods.
MRS. LARRY ISRAEL
The Tel Aviv office of Pioneer Women was the scene
of this "camp reunion" of Druze mothers and children,
part of a group of more than 1,300 mothers and 2,000 of
their children who vacationed this summer in Pioneer
Women camps throughout Israel. Campers included Arab
and Druze families from both the Cannel and Galilee
areas.

When it comes to sauce,
Chef Boy-Ar-Deeknows how
to make the finest tasting

rich sauce really loaded with
flavor, real Italian ta'am.

a wonderful hostess, a lover
of good literature, an able
musician.
She was graduated from
Detroit Conservatory of Mu-
sic and one of her proudest
moments was when she
earned her M.A. degree on
the same day that her son
was awarded his B.A.
She had written much and
had left an indelible mark
among ner friends. Now her
husband, to whom she was
married for nearly half a
century, has chosen to hon-
sr her memory by publish-
ing her essays. They have
just been published by Eu-
gene Mondor, who resides at
555 E. William St., Ann Ar-
bor, under the title "In
Memoriam: Writings of
Bella Mandor."
Included are the writer's
recollections of interesting
characters in her home town
in Romania. They are Old
World reminiscences that
continue on the American
scene.
Jewish home life is de-
picted and an entire genera-
tion passes in review in these
stories as the Joyous as well
as sad experiences are re-
lated.
There also are the roman-
tic episodes that will leave
their impressions upon the
reader.
Chronicled in this book
published as a tribute to an
able woman are the experi-
ences of a lifetime. They
were written as a labor of
love for literary expression
and their publication is an
expression of love by a de-
voted husband.
