JNF Women Prepare 'Box Lunch' Political Candidates ,Slated to Be

at Pioneer Women Law Meeting

Sinai Women's Guild Celebrates
20 Years of Service to Hospital

An "on the spot" documen-
tary television program, fol-
lowed by a reception, will
mark the 20th anniversary
celebration of Sinai Hospital
Women's Guild 8:15 p.m.
Tuesday in the Zuckerman
Auditorium of the hospital.
Guild members, hospital
volunteers and their families
are invited.
Mrs. Leonard Weiner wrote
the script for this occasion.
Mrs. Peter A. Martin is guild
president; Mrs. Walter L.
Field, program chairman;
and Mrs. Joseph Hartman,
head of the reception hos-
pitality committee.

During the past 20 years,
Sinai Hospital has benefited
from almost 2,000,000 volun-
teer hours contributed by
guild members. A volunteer
program, also under the
guild's auspices, had almost
200 teen-agers serving Sinai
during their summer vaca-
tions.

The guild's roster lists

5,000 members. The late Mrs.

Joseph H. Ehrlich was or-
ganizing chairman of the

guild.

Current officers, in addi-
tion to Mrs. Martin, include:
Mesdames David Dunsky,
John B. Horwitz, Mitchell
Mandeberg and Walter Field,
vice presidents; Bernard
Spear, Roger Ettlinger, Sid-
ney Bertin and Meryl Fenton,
secretaries; Miss Sylvia
Winer, treasurer; and Mrs.
Albert Burrows, assistant
treasurer.

Zionist Institute, it was an-
nounced by Mrs. Harold No-
veck, legislative chairman,
who is in charge of the pro-
gram.
Political figures who will

woman Martha Griffiths;
Mrs. Elly Peterson, former
chairman of the Republican
State Central Committee;
State Sens. Robert J. Huber
and Daniel Cooper; Harold
Berry, member of the Mc-
Govern for President Com-
mittee; and Ralph E. Judd
of the 17th Congressional
District.

Speakers for abortion re-
form and education proposals
are as yet unnamed.
Mrs. Frank Rath, vice

Greater Detroit Council of
Pioneer Women, will act as
