at Temple Israel Sisterhood's
opening meeting noon Mon-
day at the temple. "The
Jews and the Intellectual
Tradition of the Modern
Times" will be his topic. Dr.
Sachar, professor of modern
European and Jewish history
at George Washington Uni-
versity, authored "The
Course of Modern Jewish
History" and "'The Emer-
gence of the Middle East,"
among other works. The
luncheon will be complimen-
tary to paid-up members.
