FIGHTERS will meet 8 p.m.
Monday at the Raleigh
House. Mrs. Bernard Miller,
prog r am chairman, has
scheduled a fashion show
featuring merchandise sold at
the Cancer Fighters "Bou-
tique." The Cancer Fighters'
20th birthday will be ob-
served, and refreshments
will be served. On Tuesday,
Cancer Fighters will place
their coin banks in business
places throughout Detroit and
suburbs. Proceeds will be
used at the City of Hope
Medical Center for patient
care and in search for a cure
for cancer, leukemia and
hereditary diseases. Mem-
bers are asked to be at the
Cancer Fighters office by 9
a.m. to decide "bank runs."
A light breakfast will be
served before departing.
Chairman of the drive is
Mrs. Louis Schulman.

sary of Mr. and Mrs. Max
Efros of Ardmore Ave. was
celebrated recently by rela-
tives and friends at a party
at Northland •Inn.
Married in New York City,
the couple has spent their
entire married life in De-
troit. Mr. Efros, an electri-
cian and superintendent, was
a member of Electrical
Union 58.
