1313 Leader Reaffirms Policy
of Impartiality in Politics
Addressing 350 Bnai Brith
members who were participat-
ing in the 28th annual sem-
inar workshops, at Cong. Bnai
David Monday night Jack
Faber of Chicago. president
of District Grand Lodge 6,
reaffirmed the national pol-
icy of nonpartisanship in po-
litical discussions
Faber stated that the re-
solution adopted by the na-
tional organization declares
that as a body neither Bnai
Brith nor any other national

play an active partisan role
in politics. He declared that
since support for Israel is an
American need to protect
this country's Middle East
position, Israel should not be
a subject for discussion in
political debates.
With Mark S. Stern as
seminars chairman, 16
workshops were conducted
on Bnai Brith matters re-
lating to Hillel Foundations,
memberships, adult educa-
tion, Anti-Defamation Lea-
gue programing, youth, Is-
rael Bonds, Jewish Nation-
al Fund and tree planting,
athletics, blood banks and
other matters.

cussions included the follow-
ing chairmen of workshops
