years is 209.
The newlyweds will reside in
Ann Arbor, where Mrs . Newman
attends school.

Mr. and Mrs. Bed Weissenberg of
Chrysler Dr. celebrated their 50th
wedding anniversary, while their
grandchildren, Mr. and Mrs. Shel-
don Kohn, celebrated their first.
It also marked the 25th anniver-
sary year of the Weissenbergs'
children, Mr. and Mrs. Harold
Shelley and Mr. and Mrs. Theodore
Kohn.

a recent ceremony solemnized by
Rabbi Syme of Temple Israel. The
bridegroom is the son of Mr. and
Mrs. Harold M. Sucher of Lucerne
Dr., Southfield.
The couple left on a San Fran-1
cisco honeymoon, after which they
will reside in Ann Arbor
Accents of Venise lace and blue
eyelet ribbon trimmed the bride's
gown, which featured a high neck-
line and slightly raised waistline.
Lace adorned the bodice, flounce.
sleeve and dust ruffle. The bride'
wore a picture hat with matching
ribbon and lace. Attached was a
rosepointe lace veil, worn by four
generations on the bridegroom's
side.
A silver wine goblet, used by,
many generations of the senior
Mrs. Sucher's family, was used in
this ceremony as well.
