David Zwick, 62,Hebrew Teacher

Rabbi David Zwick, a longtime
teacher of Hebrew at local Jewish
schools, died Monday at age 62.
Rabbi Zwick taught the parents
of his current students in the
course of his 29-year Detroit
teaching career. He taught at the
United Hebrew Schools, Hebrew
Day School and Yeshivath Beth
Yehudah.
Born in Lithuania, Rabbi Zwick
was a student at the famous
Poneviz Yeshiva before corning to
Canada as a young man. He lived

Harry Collins, former owner of
Collins Brothers Men's Wear lo-
cated in the General Motors Build-
ing (1926-71), died Aug. 14. He
was 76.
Born in Russia, Mr. Collins,
16500 N. Park, Southfield, lived in
the Detroit area for 50 years. He
was a member of Temple Israel
and Knot'wood Country Club
He leaves his wife, Ann; a
daughter. Mrs. Max (Hope) Aiken;
and two grandchildren.
