His opponent in the November election will be the ul tra-conservative Republican, the former State Senator Robert J. Hu- ber of Troy. David P. Kerwin will oppose in- cumbent Judge Andrew C. Wood in the fall. Paul Silver was re- elected as a Wayne County Com- missioner in the 14th District. In Detroit, voters first approved the addition of seven judges to Re- corders Court and then voted for Judges to run in the general election in November. Seven judges will be elected. Heading the field of 14 were Justin C. Ravitz, Susan Borman and Arthur Tarnow. Detroit voters also selected eight candidates to run in November for the four current Recorders Court seats.
