A new synagogue, Cong. Bais
Chabad, will open its doors in
Farmington. The synagogue is a
contemporary Hasidic congrega-
tion affiliated with the Ifabad- Lu-
bavitch organization of Greater
Detroit.
The synagogue hopes to com-
bine the tradition of hasidic mys-
ticism with an articulate contemp-
orary approach. In this way, the
congregation hopefully will prove
attractive to those who seek ration-
