wald Post of the American Legion at a recent meeting. He is be-
lieved to be the oldest American Legion post commander in the
country. Shown with him at the recent 40th anniversary celebra-
tion of the post are (from left) former armed forces chaplain Rabbi
A. Irving Schnipper of Cong. Beth Moses, guest speaker; Mrs. Schnip-
per: and Mrs. Shapiro, auxiliary chaplain. Rosenwald is the only
American Legion post in Michigan whose entire membership is
Jewish. Other new officers are Samuel Tennebaum and Samuel
Folbe, vice commanders; Dave Kay, adjutant; Maurice Green, finance
officer; and executive board members Samuel Slakter, Meyer
