Detroiters to Join JNF Project for Lydda Victims The memory of 26 pilgrims slain at Israel's Lydda Airport May 30 will be enshrined in a grove of 1,000 trees to be planted by the greater Detroit Jewish community. According to David P. Zack, president of the Jewish National Fund, the grove will be located at the John F. Kennedy Memorial and Peace Forest in the Judean Hills outside Jerusalem. The decision to plant the grove followed announcement by Jacob Stein, chairman of the President's Conference of Major Jewish Or- ganizations, and Meyer Pesin, president of the Jewish National Fund of America, that a woodland would be planted at the Kennedy site. The dedication of Detroit's 1,000- tree grove will take place in the near future, according to Zack. For information, call the Jewish National Fund office, 968-0820.
