Miss Roosenburg, 56, a Dutch citizen, recorded her experiences in "The Walls Came Tumbling Down." A journalist, she aided refugees and acted as a courier for Allied Intelligence in occupied Belgium, France and the Nether- lands until she was arrested by the Gestapo in Brussels in 1944. She was condemned to death but was liberated by the Soviet army be- fore execution could take place.
