TIIANKS TO WALT
ZUKIN. two fifth grade clas-
ses at Pepper Elementary in
Oak Park, had lots of fried

trip, to tne nature center at

kids and teachers were most
appreciative . . . Walt has a
new spot now with Jerry
Weisman I remember Weis-

Harvard Howl') Its on
Orchard Lake Rd just south
of 14 Mile . . and quite a
picture, both inside and out
The decor is so very
ultra modern
. like anoth-
er world
vet, some old-
tone flavors still exist at the
new Zukin's . . like those
menus on the order of the
old punch-out cards . .
Folks mark their menus and
take them to a counter . . .
and a courteous waitress
brings you the barbecue ribs,
chicken fish, pizza or other
goodies checked . . . When
the license goes through, old
time movies will be shown
. . fhe new Zukin's seats
about 190, serves beer and
wine and has folk singing en-
tertainment . . . Jerry and
-Frieda's son Sheldon, 26. is
manager of the spot, which
locks more like the inside of
'a mammoth Martian space-
ship. Most interesting in-
deed .
HAD A CONEY ISLAND
Hot Dog at Pump-R-Niks on
W. Maple and Telegraph . .
it was good . . lots of chill
with onions mixed in.
IF YOU SPILL liquor or
wine on the furniture, soap
and water are not recom-
mended because permanent
discoloration may result . .
Best thing is to wet the stain
with a little warm water on
a clean cloth . Follow this.
