Disturbed Children at its recent
spring conference held at Boyne

Sandra Chorney Schachter be-
came the bride of Jeffrey Koppel-
man in a recent Saturday evening
ceremony at Temple Israel. Rabbis
Leon Fram and M. Robert Syme
and Cantor Harold Orbach offici-
ated.
The bride is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. David J. Schachter of
Walden Ct., Southfield. The bride-
groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs.
Martin Koppelman of Tusla, Okla.
The bride's gown of silk organ-
za was detailed with deep flower-
ing of Venise and Valenciesse lace.
A low, square neck and long, nar-
row sleeves were complimented by
a choker of matching organza and
lace. The cathedral mantilla was
edged and detailed in matching
lace. The gown and veil were both
frosted with appliques of Venise
lace.
Mrs. Alan E. Luckoff and Mrs.
Richard L. Sweet attended their
sister as matrons of honor. Brides-
maids were Laurie Goodman, Car-
ol Sweet and Janis Felman of
Scottsdale, Ariz.
Michael Koppelman of Houston
the bridegroom's brother, was best
man. Ushers were Dr. Richard
Sweet. Lee Sloan of Omaha, Steven
Sanditen and Stewart Kopp of Tul-
sa.
After a European honeymoon
trip, the newlyweds will reside
temporarily in Ann Arbor before
establishing residence in TuLsa.

GORDON BROWN of Montreal
was re-elected national president
of the United Israel Appeal of Can-
ada at its annual meeting in To-
ronto. He has held the position
since 1970.

realignment of the top executive
staff of the Rnai Brith Hillel Foun-
dations haS been announced by the
chairman of the Bnai Brith Hillel
Commission. President NI a rver
Bernstein of Brandeis University.
Key changes of title and re-
sponsibility follow the appointment
of Dr. Alfred Jospe as interna-
tional director of the Jewish cam-
pus agency, now serving 280 cam-
puses throughout the world.
Rabbi Oscar Groner, senior
member of the Washington-based
national Hillel staff, becomes as-
sistant national director for com-
munity affairs and campus serv-
ices.
Rabbi Samuel Z. Fishman is now
assistant national director for pro-
gram and resources.
Joining the Washington Hillel
staff in July will be Rabbi Max D.
Ticktin of Chicago.
Filling out the national Hillel
personnel picture are two veteran
members of the staff: Saul Gold-
berg, who continues to serve as
national executive assistant, and
Mrs. Yetta Nash, the national
financial assistant.
