Blood Donor Drive Set '

at Northland Center

A one-day volunteer blood donor
drive has been scheduled Thurs-
day at the Northland Shopping,
Center.
The drive. conducted under the
auspices of the Michigan Commun-
ity Blood Center (MCBC), will be
open to Northland shoppers from
noon to 8 p.m. The MCBC mobil•
unit will be set up in Room B
on the lower-level concourse near
Brothers Restaurant.
Donors can insure their families'
blood needs for a full year through
one donation. Unmarried donors
may designate three persons for
coverage for the same period.
For special appointment or in-
formation, call the center, 357-2030.

Rapid City Victims
Get Hadassah Aid;
Detroiters Help, Too

OMAHA — No sooner had the
new of the Rapid City tragedy
broken on the radio, than the
the Omaha, Neb. Chapter of Hadas-
sah mobilized to supply clothing,
cooking utensils and other neces-
sities to the South Dakota flood
victims.
A member, Mrs. Isadore Blum-
kin, called the chapter president :;!:
and gave her a personal check for
the entire contents of the Nadas-
nah
Shop.
The chapter organized a tele-
phone squad which collected. in
addition. disposable diapers, baby
clothes, crib mattresses and other
items in short supply in Rapid
City.
