Nahama 'Ironer, daughter of Prof. and Mrs. Robert Broner,

( Esther) Broner, who is an assistant professor at Wayne, has held
creative writing workshops at Haifa and Bar-Ilan Universities and
the University of the Negev at Beersheba. The Broners are in an
ulpan. studying Hebrew six days a week, five hours a day. Mrs. Broner,
the author of three books, has written a number of short stories about
Israel and is working on a novel. Nahama Broner is the granddaughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Masserman of Coolidge Ave., Oak Park.

In town for the recent bar mitzva of Avery Silverstein, son of Mr.

The Shapiro Family Club recently met at the home of Mrs. and

Mr. and Mrs. Heinz Borchardt of LaBelle Dr., Oak Park, honored
