.Baptists Call A nti-Semitism 'Un-Christian PHILADELPHIA (JTA) — The 12.000,000-member Southern Bap- tist Convention, the largest Pro- testant denomination in the U.S., declared anti-Semitism "un-Chris- tian" in a resolution adopted un- animously here Wednesday morn- ing by 13,000 "messengers" at- tending the convention's annual meeting. The resolution pledged the Southern _Baptist Convention to combate anti-Semitism "in every honorable Christian way." WZO Establishes Sephardic Unit JERUSALEM (JTA) — The World Zionist executive has decid- ed to establish a department for activating Sephardi and Oriental communities abroad in Zionist work and for co-ordinating the efforts to close the social gap in Israel. The executive also decided to establish a department to deal with the younger generation in Zionist federations abroad. This department will be headed by the executive's chairman. Louis Pincus, and will coordinate its ac- tivities withAhe department of or- ganization and information. During the coming year it will conduct a survey to ascertain the scope of the problem.
