The American Jewish Congress'
Michigan Council, sharing the con-
cern of the general community
over the unemployment situation.
has scheduled an "Employment,
Unemployment and Career Educa-
tion Conference" June 3 at Wayne
State University's McGregor Me-
morial Center.
The conference is being held un-
der the auspices of the Michigan
State Advisory Council for Voca-
tional Education, in cooperation
with 18 other groups representing
labor, industry, education and the
community. The conference will
be held from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

itiated last fall by the AJC, a num-
ber of exploratory conferences on
unemployment were held with rep-
resentatives of labor, industry, and
community groups under the lead-
ership of Dr. Abraham F. Citron
and Harley Selling, co-chairmen
of AJCommission on urban affairs,
and Mrs. Arnold E. Frank, presi-
dent of the Michigan Council.
