$24,000,000 raised as of the end of
April, women's divisions are set-
ing new fund-raising records in
the current campaigns of Jewish
federations, welfare funds and
community councils, it was an-
nounced by Mrs. Edwin Weiner of
Cleveland, chairman of the Na-
tional Committee on
Women's
Communal Service for the Council
of Jewish Federations and Welfare
Funds (CJF i.
Reporting on the spring cam-
paigns of 97 communities in the
I.' S and Canada, Mrs. Weiner
noted that the $24,000,000 repre-
vents an Increase of almost 23 per
cent in commitments from the
same people who gave last year.
