After a 35-year wait, Abraham Kleinberg of Gardner Dr., Oak
Park was reunited with his sister. Mrs. Rose Kleinherg of Argentina.
Mrs. Kleinherg. one of 12 children, and her husband Jacob left her
home in Poland in 1937 to seek a better life in South America. The Nazi
invasion of Poland and the Holocaust split the family. After the war.
an American soldier helped the four surviving brothers and sisters re-
establish communications. In 1949, Abraham and his wife came to
America. The reunited brother and sister are able to communicate
in Polish `and Yiddish.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Katz of Providence Dr.. Southfield. recently
celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary in Los Angeles with family
and friends. On hand were former Detroiters Mr. and Mrs. Max
Mushnick. Mr. and Mrs. Hy Kaye, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Gelbmam
their children and grandchildren.
The Bodzin Family Club will meet 8 p.m. Sunday at the home
of Mr and Mrs. Marvin Seligson, 24570 Sussex. Oak Park. Final plans
will be made for a Memorial Day picnic.
A Shavuot gathering of the Ruda Family Club is scheduled for
8 30 p.m. Saturday at the hems of Mr. and Mrs. Abraham Ruda.
