Samuel Wohl, founder and owner
of a painting, decorating and build-
ing business, died May 9. Ile was
77.
Born in Russia, Mr. Wohl lived
in Detroit for 60 years. He was a
member of the Brotherhood of
Painters, Decorators and Paper-
hangers of America. AFL-C10,
founder and financial secretary of
Mogilever Progressive Aid Society,
member of Beth Achim Synagogue
and the Hebrew Benevolent So-
ciety.
He is survived by his wife.
Sarah; three daughters. Mrs. Ed-
ward (Rosalyn) Droz, Mrs. Milton
(Leda) Gorlovsky and Mrs. Albert
( Gladys) Kemper; and seven
grandchildren.
