Establishment of the Orchards,
under sponsorship of the Detroit
Section. came as a result of an
intensive two-year study concern-
ing unmet mental health needs of
the community. Services, besides
a residential environment, include
a camping program, outpatient
group and individual treatment and
therapeutic preschool nursery. A
total of 244 clients have been serv-
iced in the various programs this
past year.
