better known as the successor to
the Interfaith Action Council will
keep a priest on its board, thanks
to Temple Beth El.
The Roman Catholic Diocese of
Lansing had three representatives
on the board of IAC, but after re-
organization into IMAP had only
two Rev. Thomas Thompson, who
was secretary of the board, was
not renamed a representative by
the diocese.
The board wanted to keep Fr.
Thompson as a member — so
Temple Beth El appointed Fr.
Thompson as one of its two repre-
sentatives. The other is Mrs.
Michael Pelavin.
The temple already has two
other members on the board, but
both represent the Flint Jewish
Community Council rather than
the temple.

Mrs. Theodore Harrison and
Mrs. Robert Gutterman, chairmen
of the 16th annual Temple Beth
El Sisterhood antique show and
sale, anticipate their best show'
yet—from Sunday through Tues-
day at the temple. New features
will include a Wayne State Uni-
versity art department exhibit and
sale.
Sisterhood cooks will prepare
dinners to be served each day be-
tween 5 and 7 p.m. Proceeds will
help support the temple religious
school.
