Dr Isaac Ben Ezra, Windsor
dentist who was chairman of the
Committee for the Canadian
Friends of the Ilehrew University
and a founder of the Jewish Legion
in the Toronto area during World
War I, died Sunday at age 78.

Dr Elvra. author of several books
of poetry and novels, all of which

Dunitz Brothers that had its offices
in the Washington BIsd Building.
He was a member of Cong. Shaarey
Zedek. the Town and Country
Club, and supported many Jewish
communal and charitable causes.
He leases his wile, Ethel; two
sons, Saul G and Daniel B.: two
daughters, Mrs. Shirley Glossman
and Mrs. Bernard I Dolly I Brown,

POW was killed.

The body of the dead POW was

Unrest has been growing recent-
ly at the camp which houses Egyp•
ban and Syrian POW's

Israeli sourses said it was due
to the refusal of the Egyptians to !
believe Red Cross. representatives
who told them that Egypt refuses
to exchange 11 Israeli POWs for
them.
