Tobias Fuller, an originator of
the self-service supermarket in the
Detroit area, died Tuesday at age
72.

Mr Fuller, 25991 Harding Sq
Oak Park, was the founder in 1930
and co-owner of the Holbrook
Supermarket, absorbed by other
chains 12 years ago. when he re-
tired.
Mr. Fuller was a member of
Mosaic Lodge of the Masons, Cres-
cent Shrine Club and Cong. Shaarey
Zedek. Born in Poland, he lived
in the Detroit area 47 years.
