the great friendship between the

Then there are the collected let-

Voss.
The newest Voss book, "A
Summons Unto Men—An An-
thology of the Writings of John
Haynes Holmes," published by
Simon and Shuster, adds lin-
mensely to these collected writ-
ings with a great tribute to one
of the most important religious
teachers of this century.
The anthology of Holmes' writ-

and his labors find commendation
in a preface by James Luther
Adams, Dana MacLean Greeley and
Donald Szantho Harrington, Uni-
tarian Universalists, who com-
mend Dr. Voss' efforts and who
point to Dr. Holmes' link in friend-
ship with people of all faiths, Jews
of all denominations and his life-
long endorsement of the Zionist
ideal.
