He had been in practice 44 years. A graduate of the University of Detroit Law School, he was a mem- ber of the Detroit and Michigan Bar associations, Pisgah Lodge of Bnai Brith, Cong. Adis Shalom. Born in Budapest, Mr. Horwood lived in the Detroit area 50 years. He resided at 28883 Rock Ledge, Farmington. Surviving are his wife, Blila; two daughters, Mrs. Murray (Joan) Chodak and Mrs. Allen (Sandra) Lewis of Sarasota; two sisters, Mrs.- Janet Johnson and Mrs. Lora Clark, both of New York; and six grandchildren.
