Young Detroiters Forining toinmuhity
to Prepare for Al ya Experinient

Two: college Students, whose ex-
perience in Israel spurred them to.
return there, are forming a group
of young adults who eventually
will make aliya as a community.

La'Am service program and Wolok
at Hebrew University.
Now the two young men are
seeking out others age 17-27 with
a similar desire to emigrate as a
group within the next three years.
Kaplan said they hope to estab-
lish _a form of "urban kibutz," a
-- co-op within a development town.
While they ,would follow many
ideas of, communal living, such as
- collective decisions, they , would
emphasize individual - career free-.
