JERUSALEM (JTA)—Giora Neu-
mann, a member of Matzpen, a
splinter Marxist anti-Zionist or-
ganization, his been given a third
35-day sentence for refusing army
service in the administered ter-
ritories.
His claim to conscientious ob-
jection was rejected.
Another Matzpen member, Arye
Bober, also received a 35-day term
for a similar refusal to serve.
Matzpen has been canvassing
public opinion - through advertis-
ments and handbills, but so far
with no results. Matzpen identifies
closely with the views of Nayef
Hawwatmeh, leader of the extrem-
