chestra Hall Committee -since -its
inception 18 months ago, claims
that title to the property will be
transferred within a few days
from the present owners.
Mr. and Mrs. Louis Redstone
are members of the committee for
the concert. -
Orchestra Hall, which was built
in 1919, has not been used since
1955:
Its building committee included
Albert Kahn.
Artists who have performed in
the hall include Mischa Elman,
Pablo Casals, Artur Rubinstein,
Serge Raelmuninoff, - Vladimir
Horowitz, Efrem Zimbalist, Wanda
Landowska, Dame_ Myra Hess,
Igor Stravinsky, Gregor MU-
gorsky, Loe

Prokofieff and- Jascha- Heifetz. •

Trust and now owned -by Orches-

be restored to its former grandeur
