period 1968-1971, have since left
Israel and emigrated to other

He also disclosed that aliya
from France has declined by
about 36 per cent, from 5,174 in
1970 to only 3,281 in 1971.
Peled stated that the Jewish
Agency's immigration department

JDL Plans Jerusalem
SchOol for Young Leaders
The Jewish Defense League,
Michigan office, annolmces that
in September the JDL will open
a school in Jerusalem "for young
Jewish leaders to learn effective-
ly how to combat the alienation of
Jewish youth."
Applicants will through a one-
year course in Jewish studies,
courses in Jewish nationalism and
leadership training. At the end of
that time, they, will return to the
United States and be obligated to
give two years of serving as a stu-
dent on a university campus.
